Can I reformat my CF Flash card with the SL-5500. Also do I have to get an external Reader/Writer to update the CF Flash with new apps?

You can reformat your CF card if you download the mkfs ipkgs. You do not need an external reader/writer to update your CF as you should be able to transfer files using Intellisync or Qtopia. Although not necessary, it does come in handy.

I looked at the ZUG Download area and unable to find mkfs ipkgs. Could you point me to the correct area.

The Sharp ROM includes all the mkfs tools. It\'s fdisk that you will need in order to change the filesystem. You can get it here:
