zynergy mp3 woes
« on: March 24, 2004, 11:38:48 pm »
Bummer. One of the main things I do with my zaurus is listen to mp3\'s. Anyway, gotta 5600 with zynergy5600. Been using tkcPlayer for a while, and it\'s been reasonably stable. However, now it crashes all the time, right at the end of startup scan. It eventually tries to restart, but with the same result. Running from the command line, I get a floating point exception. I\'ve uninstalled and reinstalled, with the same result. Any tips?

Anyone got xmms or opieplayer or anything working on zynergy? Thanks much in advance.....

On the Timekiller.org there is a zynergy d/l of removed apps: \'removed.tar.gz\' it contains the Sharp-media_1.5.0_arm-withcodecs.ipk with that and the vorbis-plugin_1.0.1-6_arm.ipk off Killefiz.de you can play almost anything.

Thanks for the tip. I guess the sharp one is better than none at all. I\'ve emailed the Kompany, but I\'m not sure if I\'ll ever hear anything back. We\'ll see. I\'d ideally like to have xmms or something running. What have you other zynergy folks done with mp3\'s??? Anyoen gotten xmms, opieplayer, or mplayer with a GUI working?
