Archos Customer Service Rules!
« on: June 25, 2006, 08:06:21 pm »
Almost 2 months ago someone stole my Archos Gmini 402. A report was filed with authorities but it of course was never recovered. We send a letter to Archos along with the police report, bill of sale and serial number in order to have the warranty voided at their end and to possibly block any direct from Archos firmware updates. To our complete shock last week Archos customer service called our house to advise us that they were sending us a new unit N/C even thoight we made no such request.  Although I has my doubts, on Wednesday of this past week I received a brand new Archos 402 gmini by Fedex "no charge". This is customer service above and beyond. Man am I glad I bought the archos instead of that other brand. I have been very pleased with this player/recorder and have have had zero problems in almost a year of ownership. Archos rules!!
