Any Good Games For The Cxx00?
« on: January 20, 2006, 01:10:01 pm »
I'm having trouble find ing good native gams for my c3100.  I already have snes and such set up.

Is anyone working on games for this system?  Could be commercial or free.

Also, I bought Rocket elite for my sl5600 a long time ago, do those games work on this?  What about a froot version for this one?

doom is next on my list to set up.

missle command
majong
backgammon
knights (chess)
asteroids
go
aliens
zsolitaire
atomic
froot (I can't remember if it works on this one)
same
billiardz
tetrix
zbattleship (haven't tested this on the 3100 yet)
quake (not tried yet either)

BTW eon games has some decent 3d games (for the 5500), but I don't think they are around anymore.  They still have the free demos floating about.

lgames  require zports.  if you downloaded my turbografx snes nes packages, make sure you run zports and install modified keybindings to proper directories.

good games here:

http://www.linux-solutions.at/projects/zaurus/index.html

they are natively for the 5xxx so just uncheck the magnified screen checkbox before launching them

Yeah,  I just found that version right after I posted the message!  I'm having to play on the "kids" level because of my awful reflexes but it's a fun game.

Yeah, when I use the arrow keys the pad moves pretty fast.  You can also use the stylus to control the pad but it is a little wonky, you have to tap in the right spot (I think the game is made for mouse input and when you tap it, it's like having the mouse suddenly jump half way accross the screen).

ohh...got billiardz running on my cacko.  appearantly, you need these files.

billiardz_0.1.4_arm.ipk
libSDL-image_1.2.3-1_arm.ipk
libpng3_1.2.4-1_arm.ipk

for the sharprom, run the libSDL-image_1.2.5cvs-1_arm.ipk and make sure you dont have both libsdl's installed.
