Well, it's the least they can do after all we've done for them....

Assuming "we" means the USA and the "coalition of the willing", let's see what "we" have done for "them":

- destroyed Iraq's infrastructure
- introduced terrorists into the country
- installed a puppet government
- settled a personal grudge by executing Saddam

If the Western oil companies are allowed to exploit Iraq's oil wealth then it won't be many years before an Iraqi Revolution along the lines of the Iranian Revolution.
