Panel items

I went and started another instance of CPU/mem -monitor from menu/Utilities/Panel. Now how do I kill it / remove items from the panel? Rebooting the system didn't have any effect.

Why not just remove them using the remove function and remove both cpu/mem monitors and then add a new one.
