Help! - Messed Up /etc/profile, Can't Run Rxvt
« on: March 05, 2007, 02:24:17 pm »
Hey guys,

I think I screw up my /etc/profile file. I was trying to add a directory on my /mnt/card/myScripts to the PATH variable in my /etc/profile file, but now I can't run my rxVT or xterm.

Help plz!

Here's a copy of my PATH variable:

PATH=/opt/native/arm/3.4.6-xscale-softvfp/bin:/opt/native/arm/3.4.5-xscale-softvfp/bin:/opt/sdk/bin:/root/bin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:$QTDIR/bin:$KDEDIR

Did I miss something??

Thanks tesla_cubed,

I tried using your path, but no luck.

If anybody out there could past a copy of their /etc/profile PATH value, that would be great. I'm using pdaxii13 on a sl-c1000.

Funny thing is I can't even get rxvt or xterm to even run.
