I successfully compiled lmms 0.2.1...
What is LMMS?
LMMS aims to be a free alternative to popular (but commercial and closed- source) programs like FruityLoops, Cubase and Logic giving you the ability of producing music with your computer by creating cool loops, synthesizing and mixing sounds, arranging samples, having more fun with your MIDI-keyboard and much more...
LMMS combines the features of a tracker-/sequencer-program (pattern-/channel-/ sample-/song-/effect-management) and those of powerful synthesizers and samplers in a modern, user-friendly and easy to use graphical user-interface.

Here are the dependencies (many of them are optional):
http://lmms.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php...ng_dependenciesMy experience with it:Well,It works! And it loads up fairly quick. The gui is quite responsive too. But bear in mind that this is an audio app so lots and lots of floats. In other words, don't expect much of it. Frankly i haven't been able to make anything with it that sounds normal. Everything is horribly distorted and streched. i recommend that you do not try to use the triple oscillator plugin or the organic plugin as they hanged my Z and i had to reset it several times. The rest of the plugins work. Well...sort of
The first thing you should do when you fire it up is to set the latency to maximum. Then you should turn off the oscilloscope in the upper right right corner as it eats through the cpu like crazy. This is my first successfully compiled app and ipk so...be gentle . I compiled it natively. it took about three hours. Not much really. I've been trying to cross compile it with no success. i also tried using distcc which also didn't work. i put it up so people could experiment with it. I don't know why the sound output is so distorted. I tried to play some samples and they were distorted beyond recognition although it didn't use much of the cpu. So there you go...Have fun and post your results.
