Debian Eabi +sound
« on: November 03, 2007, 10:24:39 pm »
I have an entire setup going, alsa installed etc ... sound modules are loaded etc.

Xmms plays like its doing something, but no sound from the speakers or headphones.  What am I doing wrong?

uboot +2.6.22.9 +eabi armel rootfs.

try to play with sound levels in aumix or alsamixer
you should at least have sound in the headphones

also in xmms preferences, chooose alsa output plugin

mplayer file.mp3

on an other xterm :

alsamixer :

put all "up" + "unmute" + "at the top"      and when i mean "all", i mean ALL... even if you think it won't do anything.

then you'll have the sound

and then, simply mute little by little everything
