Will This Sd Card Work?
« on: December 14, 2007, 06:49:27 pm »
http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Secure-Digit...5898&sr=8-1

If not, does anyone know of one off hand I can get for cheap off amazon?

I plan on making it the hard drive for the C1000, if thats possible?

I haven't gotten my C1000 yet (ordering it tomorrow) but I heard it doesn't have a hard drive. Will I be able to make the sd card that I get the hard drive?
If so, any links or comments would be appreciated.

I don't believe the SDHC sd cards will work with the Z.  I have a 4gb transcend that is not SDHC and it works perfectly.  Here's the one I bought.  It's only 40x but, from what I understand the Z can't read higher than 40x.  Here's another transcend that doesn't appear to be SDHC.  Transcend 150x 4gb SD card.  The higher speed will help with moving files on to the card from your PC.

Hope this helps.

While google, I saw that a newer kernel does allow sdhc support. Can anyone check this out?

Thanks! more people that say it will work the more I am convinced it will.

I hope it does because a sdhc card is on its way to my house right now.

So it my Zaurus! .. although it is still in dispatch from outward office of exchange in Tokyo lol

I have to bring this thread back to life. Can anyone confirm that 8/16/32Gb SDHC cards work in SL-C3x00 and SL-C1000 models using Poky or Ångström?

I'm using a 16GB SDHC under an angstrom kernel perfectly atm.
SL-C3100 with usb power mod running debian eabi
pdaXii13 still on the NAND for dualbooting
16GB SDHC! (a new one, after I sat on the old one and it went kaput)
D-Link 660 wifi, Socket Bluetooth rev H
External 9800mAh LiIon battery and slimline dvd drive
Homebrew microphone and remote
