Help! Canon K30225 Wireless Lan Compact Flash & Akilta
« on: September 02, 2008, 10:51:53 pm »
OK, I might have done something dumb (I think): I got a CANON K30225 Wireless LAN Compact Flash from ebay to use with my SL-C1000 (Akita), using Cacko  1.23. I did not check  in the Intharweb if this card works with the Zaurus, although the vendor claims it works with the sl-c7XX...

The card shows the power led on, but no link. The wireless monitor does not see the card.

The output of cardctl status is:

Socket 0:
    3.3V 16-bit PC Card
    function 0: ready
Socket 1:
    no card

Output of cardctl ident:

Socket 0:
product info: "Wireless LAN", "11Mbps PC Card", "Version 01.02", ""
    manfid: 0x0156, 0x0002
    function: 6 (network)
Socket 1:
    no product info available

So, what do I do now?? Help! Puleezz?

*** UPDATE ***

Never mind, all I had to do is reboot the Zaurus. I kept forgetting that the power button only suspends the Zaurus. Duh!
