Hi.

Do you think there is a way to connect a usb hard drive to a Zaurus ?

I think it may be possible, but if not, could you explain me why ?

You either need to get the new SL-6000 with a built in USB host controller or get a USB host controller CF card like grey_moon pointed out for all other models. Either way, it\'s expensive.

What about plugging it to the existing port (the one used for sync) ?

Here\'s one that even mentions the Zaurus

But, I think that these CF USB host adapters are all USB 1.1, which would make for a frustrating experience with external mass storage. Does the 6000 support USB 2.0? (I have read that the 6000 supports USB On-The-Go, but I am not sure if this implies 2.0 or not.) If so, this would be the way to go if the current CF hard drives really aren\'t big enough, or you want to connect the Z to a CD or DVD drive (assuming that the kernel modules and drivers are available, but that shouldn\'t be too hard for someone to arrange if Sharp don\'t bundle them).
