« on: May 04, 2004, 12:12:53 am »
I have installed the cACKO qt Rom (NICE JOB GUYS/GALS)...but i was rbowsing throught the PDAXROM feeds...

So I was wondering, will the IPKs in the PDAXRom Feeds work in the QT environments.

I man I know SOME won\'t , but what about DOOM, or calculator  programs, note takers and ebook readers...do any of the work ???

Thanks..I wanted to ask befoer traching my CackoQT install.

THe biggest problem with the pdaX ipks is that they are compiled using gcc3.3 rather than gcc2.95 as the Qtopia rom is, you\'ll also need to copy the needed libc libs across.

Also as the apps are expecting X they are probably linked to libX etc and won\'t easily work on QT, you could try using X/Qt to run them but I\'ve had font problems with pdax apps and X/QT
