I am using SL-5600. It presumes that you want to use your desktop computer as your Internet gateway and the bundled docking station is in use.
This command using root access works for me when connecting to Internet via my Mac:
route add default gw 192.168.129.1
This command using root access might work when connectig to Internet via my PC or Linux (not tested):
route add default gw 192.168.129.200
For both cases, ping individual machine\'s IP before issuing the command.
As for MP3 file, the storage requirement is 1 MB for 1 minute of music. You can work out how many songs you can store.
You may want to use a 4 GB Microdrive for which I have reported that the removal is not difficult :
