« on: April 18, 2004, 09:47:19 pm »
I was just wondering if anyone had used the SMC SMC2635W WiFi card on any SL-C7x0 or SL-C860 and if it worked out of the box or with some tweaking? Here\'s more detail

Umm, if you mean using it in the Zaurus, that\'s probably going to be more trouble than it\'s worth: this is a PCMCIA card, the size card most notebooks accept, and not a CF card, which the Zaurus accepts.  Many CF-to-PCMCIA adapters exist; I don\'t know if one exists to go the other way, but if so, it\'s going to be rather bulky and awkward.

I think what you are looking for is a CF WiFi card...

Sandisk 512MB SD, formatted ext2;

I have used the SMC2642W EZ Connect Wireless Compact Flash Card in both the Zaurus SL-C760 and SL-5500 without problems.
