Android shortcuts disappear after reboot

Hi,
Has anyone else noticed any android shortcuts disappearing after reboot?
It doesn't happen to all icons but the ones it does happen to it is consistent in then disappearing after reboot. the programs are still installed and available in the apps area it is just the shortcuts on the desktop that disappear.

This has not happened to me tbh.  Which launcher are you using and are they shortcuts (app launchers) as opposed to widgets?

I can confirm that. In the beginning it was always the case. Meanwhile, it has not happened for a long time. During this time, I took regular screen shots to remember my assignment of my shortcuts. This was extremely annoying. Unfortunately, I can not tell you exactly what I did to stop it. However, I flashed a couple of times. Perhaps that solved the problem. I use the standard launcher.

It is the standard launcher, shortcuts not widgets, happens if i put them in folders or direct on the desktop.

Agreed.

Bought Nova Prime and installed its *Nova Launcher.

Thereafter, no WTH-vanishing shortcuts or widgets.

Perhaps review the free and recommended *Apex Launcher's functionality and give it a go.

*Nova and Apex are the two best launchers IMHO and limited, since-owning a Gemini experiences with such tools.

Can confirm I haven't had this problem since switching to Nova Launcher.

(As I spend a *lot* of time in Termux, I'm considering switching to T-UI as my full-time launcher ... don't expect a problem with shortcuts on that!)
