Hi (again)

Is there a way of making the screen come on to show messages received or other notifications when its sitting open on the desk ?

All it seems to do now is vibrate but nothing comes on screen

Thank you

Stephen

Yes there is.

Download the GeminiLED app from Play Store.

Configure it to display a color for email, texts, and whatever other apps you want a notification from.

For example, I use BlueMail and assigned it a blue led light. Now, when the cover is closed, a blue led light shines when I have email.

Switch off vibrate, etc. and use that LED app instead.

By the way, I enabled the Gem's LEDSION app's permission setting for contacts, but switched off its "Caller-ID ANIMATIONS>Enable Call LED Patterns" setting to mitigate the two apps conflicting (possibly).

My Gem sits open on my desk (screen timeout set to inactive 5 minutes). Single, unique tone is set for essential apps to make and alert me.

Submitted for you consideration,
