Hi JP

Just got a text message from a friend in London with a wifi card on a C760 (which has the big battery), he reckons he get about 5 hours from it on medium brightness - on average with average use. Not sure what *that* means though!

Hope this helps a bit

;-)
Left Linux and Linux PDAs... sorry, got boring.  Switched to Mac.

I\'d half the estimate as a conservative guide, unless someone has specifically measured it. Buy a big battery? :-)

Anyone?

Hmm. I\'d say I probably get around 4 hours on my c760 also.

Whenever I use the small battery from my former 5500 in the 760, I get about the same usage as the 5500.  I expect about an hour or less.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

I get 3+ hours with wifi usage.  I haven\'t tested dling contantly to see...  plus, I think it matters how close to the
access point, etc.

without wifi and screen not at max ... it can play mp3s for quite a long time.  I played nethack (qt) and listened
to mp3s while flying across the country (us) ...  the battery was at 45% down from 100% after the 5 hour flight.
