Phone call auto rotation
« on: February 05, 2020, 12:22:54 pm »
With my Cosmo it seems the dual orientation microphone is not working. No matter how I am holding the Cosmo, it seems the speaker is always near to the flash and the microhone near to the fingerrprint reader.

Does anyone experience the same behaviour?

Am I missing some setting? Hardware defect? Not yet implemented?

I think I would file that under "it's not a bug, it's a feature!", and be quite pleased with it...

At least it is better than how my Gemini sometimes behaves: I'm on a call, and suddenly at least the speaker switches to the other side, and you need to turn the phone to hear anything. (Sometimes it seems like the mic is stuck on the same side as the speaker too when the speaker changes, and then the other side wont hear me if I have the "speaker-side" to my ear. I do believe I am usually able to rectify it by opening the phone and turning speakerphone on, and then off again...)

Mine also only works on one end, the fingerprint end that is.  Both speakers work in other apps tho.
