Anyone considered an irc channel on freenode would be great sometimes to get live support, i know it is early but someone might set it up, or maybe there is already a gemini channel ...

I just subscribed (via an odd IOS client) and read back to midDecember. And I am really impressed, both by the community and by the fact that by the time I get my G everything will probably be working under Linux. I will owe you guys barrels of beer! An interesting effect of the Gemini is that it has gotten people capable of doing it interested in making Linux work on a telephone.
dep

Atari Portfolio (yes, it still works and yes, I bought it new)
Libretto 110 CT (with docking station and all kinds of PCMCIA stuff)
And, now, a Gemini and, fortunately, a GPD Pocket

I know this is on an old post, but i'm reconfiguring our logging service from freenode to Libera and wanted to check and see if the gemini-pda channel is still in use (it's very quiet!) and/or if there are any others I should be looking at.

Thanks!

Hi and thanks for taking care of the logs.

Lately there are very few posts in that channel, though I understand that there are some users who prefer to remain on that channel. I'm not aware of any other Planet-related IRC channel, except for #planet-devices on IRCNet of course.
I'd like to keep the old logs though, for historic reasons (as well as #kexecboot, which holds a lot of info for the Zaurus PDA which is not available anywhere else). Would it be possible to keep the logs there? Otherwise, I can host here a zipped mirror of the channel(s).

Hi Varti,

very happy to keep the log archive, not planning to get rid of it or anything.

My thoughts are on keeping it logging going forward. Can only see a couple of people using #gemini-pda at present, and did spot mention of #planet-devices as well. Will try and keep in place whatever works best for all of us, just let us know how we can help.

Thanks
