I am experimenting with Sylpheed trying to set up the
mime types. I have followed the instructions in the manual
to create a file \"mailcap\" and \"mime.types\", but no matter
where I put them things did not work. They seem to go
into /usr/local/etc, but I am not certain. For example, I
tried to define \"application/pdf pdf\" in mime.types and then
issue \"application/pdf; xpdf %s\" in mailcap. But this had
no effect. Can someone tell me what to do?
