« on: June 23, 2004, 06:02:04 pm »
Can I have CRIM back to my zaurus c760 after Cacko rom has been installed?

I found it quite useful in typing chinese characters.

There is no easy way as all of the Japanese support files were removed to make room for other apps.

It is possible however to get all the packages you need from another Z or from the latest rom1.4j for the C860 and install them on your Z.

Good luck

You need a bunch of them
From /usr/QtPalmtop.rom/plugins/inputmethods/ you need
libCRIM.cf
libCRIM.so
libCRIM.so.1
libCRIM.so.1.0
libCRIM.so.1.0.0

These need to be symlinked to /home/QtPalmtop/plugins/inputmethods/

From  /usr/QtPalmtop.rom/plugins/applets you probably need

libfepmonapplet.so.* - which need to be symlinked to /home/QtPalmtop/plugins/applets/

And you'll need some (maybe all but I doubt it) files from
/usr/QtPalmtop.rom/dic - which need to be symlinked to /home/usr/QtPalmtop/dic

You may also need some files from /usr/QtPalmtop.bin/lib but I have no idea which ones - sorry

hope this helps
