software "reviews"

hi,

is there any homepage or thread in this forum, where software is "reviewed"?
when i search and test apps from killefiz.de/zaurus i always have the feeling, i miss the best.
it would help if there were any private homepages oder something where users share their most used software.

do you know any place to get these information, because testing every app thats out there, would cost too much time.
