Media Player Issues?
« on: July 26, 2004, 05:11:52 pm »
Simple question:

I converted a wmv video to mpeg1. Tested it on my computer and was fine. But when I played it on my zaurus with the default media player, it was all choppy. I mean REALLY choppy!  1 frame every 2 seconds choppy! I had no other applications running and everything else works normally. HELP ME!!!!

You must encode to  320x240 and 300Kbs for 5500 max or 850 Kbs for Cx00 max

Decimating (everyother frame) by 2 help considerably and you would not notice the difference.

Hope this helps

For my case with SL-5600, I did not use the Media Player comes with it.   I would rather use  mplayer or VLC.

Which Z and ROM are you using?
