Best ROM for 5500?
« on: August 26, 2004, 05:28:19 pm »
I have a 5500 running OZ 3.2 with a 64meg SD card and linksys WCF-12 wireless card.  The system is fairly stable every once and a while, however, I still get daily crashes, kernel "oops" when unplugging/plugging in the wireless card, and have a lot of software compatability problems.  This is probably due to that fact that the ROM is quite old.  I want to upgrade and I've noticed there a few that I've never tried.

I would like to run the latest up-to-date rom, and I'd perfer a image that was atleast worked on in the last 6 months.

So my question is, what is the best ROM to run on the Zaurus 5500?

Idon't mean to spoil your fun, but these 2 :-

CACkO Zaurus Qtopia ROM 1.21
pdaXrom version 1.0.5

will not work on a 5500, otherwise the cacko 1.21 would be my reccomendation.
