Can anyone show me the way to get my 32MB Sandisk MMC working?
I got 32MB Sandisk MMC with Siemens SL45 mobile purchase. The MMC initially was not accessible at all, but after formatting it using my friend's KOSS MP3 Player (Sigmatel WMA/MP3 Player 64MB), I was able to copy files from and to the MMC . Some 2/3 days later, I tried to copy some data on the MMC, but was unable to get it stored. I found low battery indication on LCD screen of KOSS MP3 Player. I just kept trying again and again, but it was taking too much of time. I disconnected (safe removal) the player, removed my MMC from it, and tried to access with my Siemens SL45 mobile, but now I'm getting The same error as initial condition of the card on purchase, that is: "Multimedia Card Format Error"
Now the software utility using which I formatted my Sandisk, is also unable to find the disk. Everything is showing me "No Media" Error. (Windows Explorer, Format utility with KOSS, etc.)
I previously made interface for Printer port and MMC. It is able to detect the disk as before, but I havent reached to read/write sector yet. It is too difficult for me to get the disk working.
I will be trying to get my DOS based software working...
Is there an utility of forcefully formatting a Sandisk Multimedia Card?
