Socket WiFi?
« on: December 16, 2003, 07:19:09 pm »
Any special tricks to get Socket WiFi running on X11? I used the LANConfig widget, and am seeing all my settings in the Home/Choices/common/Network-LAN-test.conf file (my network config is called test).

When I run ifconfig, I see my network info under eth0.

Is there something I need to do to initiate the connection?

mk500, I just plug in my Socket and it connects automatically to my network. I just open Konquerer and away I go   .

The only issue I\'ve found is that the passphrase doesn\'t seem to work in the LANconfig GUI. My WEP only works if I manually enter the key.

hmmm....I\'m doing the same thing. Not sure what the issue is.

Thanks for the verification that it can work.
