I recently installed Kathrin RC3 on my 860. I am attempting to watch movies using mplayer. The movies were originally encoded in DivX which I reencoded to 3ivx D4 4.5 with VirtualDub. However, during playback of the movies, playback stops, while the XMMS front end hangs.
Has anyone else had a similar problem or should I try using a different encoding codec? Is there anything else I can try to diagnose the problem?
