Help with Bluetooth web access
« on: January 10, 2004, 06:54:04 pm »
Wow, this group are good for swift answers. One more question....

I wanna get a bluetooth phone, (Prob a t68I) and a bluetooth cf for my Zaurus to surf the web. Is this possible and easy? Can anyone recommend a good outlet to get hold of the cf card?

Again, many thanks!

Loads of people use the T68i for Bluetooth internet access. For a Bluetooth card I would look here: http://www.expansys.com (I\'m just a happy customer)

But look here before buying: http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php...oothCardSupport

If you go with the BlueZ drivers, there\'s a howto here:

Thanks, though it all seems a little complicated for a novice like me. What about this?

I am having the same dilema myself at the moment.

Not that this statement helps you at all, but at least you are not alone.

Here is a walk through my setup:

If you aren\'t confortable editing scripts and config files, doing alot of research, and spending alot of time hacking around all together, you may want to go with the AirCable you linked to above.  It looks like the vendor will support the configuration you are looking to setup, which is a big plus if you\'re new to Linux.  I don\'t know anything about the product though.
