C3000 Battery Life?
« on: December 19, 2004, 03:24:15 pm »
WHAT IS BATTERY LIFE OF THE C3000?  IS IT BETTER THAN THE C860?  I AM THINKING OF BUYING EITHER...  (shez... I wonder why they didn't pick the 624 or 520 MHz CPU)

& do you guys feel that the 4 GB MD is reliable? not to lose data?  1 have heard negative things about micro drives...

& is the size difference between the C860 & the C3000 make the c3000 significantly less poeketable?   How is the c3k in this matter?

The C3000 is very close in size to the C860, adding only a few mm here and there.

The battery life isn't quite as good on the C3000 compared to my C860. Then even brighter display and microdrive eat more power.

PDAgal : what if you try to do an "exact" comparison ? (same brightness lvl on both of them and plug a microdrive in your 860 ?)
SL-C3000 - pdaXrom 1.1.0Beta1
SL-C860 - pdaXrom 1.1.0 RC8 (charging circuitry dead :( )
CF RamStar 512 Mb / Hitachi 4Gb microdrive (thanks to creative's muvo² :p)
SD Sandisk 1Gb / Viking 256 Mb
Linksys WCF13 CF wifi card

Anyone willing to donate for my work, please consider donate to pdaXrom and/or OE/OZ projects instead, I wouldn't have been able to do anything without them ...
