Thats remember me, lpotter know it, but if someone wanted to know:
(of course i used a rom he changed but i mention it here)

The USB bug i had on the ping, is kernel related. You have to use another kernel.
The Fn work now but put a <enter> first. So doesnt really work.
Still need to fix the USB detection on unsuspend (the PC doesnt detect the device after a suspend unsuspend).

Except that the rom has been working pretty good. I have small sync problem, but
I never had time to test in the last week and half wink.gif

Thats for the c700.

I should try to find a "known issues" for the buildroot version ljp used smile.gif

QUOTE(lardman @ Apr 6 2005, 03:13 PM)
If it's based on 3.3.6pre1, then have a look for my start_net.sh script (PXA version for you) to restart net-over-usb - this was a known issue with this version of OZ.

Si

For those who like me are looking for the script

This is the script
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...rt_net\.sh

And the ipk:
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...rt_net\.sh

It seem i still have a problem with my USB, i cant ping on each machine. So I tried on my zaurus
when i do a
ping 192.168.129.1 my machine freeze (then i have to reset it), there was any bug OZ related about USB bug that was not working correctly on a c700 or something ?

Hi,
I got a new laptop with Outlook at work, so i installed intellisync 3.2E with the USB drivers on it.
Everything work fine. I can start the sync. I get my conflict address. I fix them, then when
the sync start writing on the zaurus i get.

The zaurus data may contain an invalid value.
please review using the 'error check' function on the zaurus

I have space in /home (14megs) and its only like 100 contacts I have to sync.

Where is that Error check function ?

I get the same problem when i try to write from the file transfert program. I can get a file from my SD card and put it on my laptop but i cant put an ipk on the SD card.

Seem like something block it. I tried USB IO and USB TCP/IP

Suggestion ?

C700 - Cacko 1.21b - Laptop is a XP SP2 (HP nc8000)
Using USB Drivers from zug.org download section.

EDIT:

I just figured out after some reboot (disabled swap on SD and SD) thats its actually my jffs2 that has a bad block. And mount /home in read only :/

I guess its time to format and flash cacko 1.22... I hope thats fix the problem......

There is a sync function that is included un ka/pi, you only have to sync with Sharp_DTM and thats should do the work. This way you can sync it often, then sync with intellisync into windows / outlook.

That suppose you copied the .dtm file from your c860 to your c3000 and you have all of them already in the standard addressbook program.

You should try to contact mteira, I know for the zports version he did fix 2-3 bugs for the zaurus. His email from zports should work. I didnt had time to do anything zaurus related for like 10 months, so I doubt i will do it, but should know I might get motivated somehow in futur hehe.

Nevertheless, I agree especially with the comments on the information density of  the home page. I don't know if that changes with the new layout, but I would certainly prefer to have that single-line per new package.

Thats exactly what I think is the problem.

What I want is a front page with 30 lines - 30 packages with date and a small description, not 30 packages the 2 first packages take 15 lines, so you have to scroll down forever to see whats new.

When i do a search its the same thing, i was 1 line by packages, then I can click on it to get into the project. Thats the way i see it smile.gif I think thats how kilefiz work too isnt ?

My bet is they wont do a CF version so peoples dont open they new device to rip off the HD, and use it somewhere else.

Its Embedded you so actually have to buy a device with it.

Well IMO smile.gif

This is really great ! rolleyes.gif

Always been wondering that too, why it doesnt work on a c700/c750 but work on the c760, maybe sharp decided to add extra soldering on the SD slot or something smile.gif

Im using a Tugsten T stylus, its really nice, fit perfectly, except its too long. I had to cut mine (well i prefer it that way), Its kinda tricky to cut, you have to remove the plastc at end (very hard) and use damn good cutter, because the metal is not easy to cut. Else its really good.

Also, does it add any phone features (from the Qtopia phone) to be able to make the Zaurus as a dial-out tool too ?

From what ljp told me, the phone features wont be in the PDA version, but i could be wrong.

I dont know why peoples say they cant release a ROM. I never saw that mentionned anywhere. Even on they website they say they going to release a ROM for most models. I hope we get it soon too. End of 2004 is getting to the end =P

networkguy2.jpg for me, its classic and small. More info on 1 screen = the better smile.gif
I liked the fuukcomp a lots but, it take a lots of space.

Btw dz, Im still hoping, that we could have a "My profile" or something or a cookie that remember your last choicem, that you could choose the design you "prefer". Thats would be neat wink.gif

1.7.7 is VERY old. Give a try at 1.9.13

Is far more advanced and will be easy to sync with Sharp DTM
