hey guys~
recently i found a device called SmartQ5 or Q7 MID very interesting ~ Q5 is a device having 4.3in. screen with 800x480 resoultion. it use Samsung arm11 667MHz CPU with 128MB ram it equipment with WiFi 802.11b/g, bluetooth and a SD card slot Q7 is a device with same hardware as Q5 except the 7in. screen and no bluetooth. same as z, they has usb host and tested with working mouse, keyboard and flash drives~ it originally comes with a modified ubuntu i found that someone already ported several os into the device, debian, wince, mer and android !!! ![]() the most important things is it is much cheaper than z Q5 live shots Q5 hands on |

it looks like an interesting alternative to the nokia tablet 770 or 800, but without a keyboard it's no zaurus killer, but we can hope that someone like smartQ will see the light!

I ordered a few SmartQ 5s with android. I have one for myself and one for my wife, and I pre-sold a couple. I'm really looking forward to this gadget. I love my C1000, but its been a frustrating experience sometimes, and I'm hoping that already having support for three major distributions (android, mer and ubuntu) will lead to a user experience that is a little less tweaking and a little more fun.
