I couldn't find a back quote on the keyboard. So I edited both /etc/keymap.2.6 and /etc/keymap.2.4 and put "grave" in the <function>-q spot. I tried loadkeys but that didn't seem to work for me. After reboot I got a back quote when pressing <function>-q.
![]() I am not sure which file (2.6 or 2.4) gave the proper results. I am little rushed now to test it again.

I have been away from the forums/pdaxrom and thus the cutting edge recently and am coming back confused. I am currently running beta3, as it was 'stable' when I last flashed roms. Now in looking over the forum I see various posts about rc121 and pdaxii13. Are these the same rom just different variations? Is one more stable than the other? I believe Meanie is doing work on pdaxii13. Is this part of pdaxrom or an offshoot?
Thanks for clarification.

(newbie alert:)
I am trying to set my PATH variable in the bash shell. I would like to put a .profile file in my home directory but this does not seem to be working. Does pdaxrom only allow for /etc/profile or is there some other detail that I am missing? I am under the impression that bash checks both ~/.profile and ~/.bash_profile for configuration. I am using beta3 on akita.

Before trying out OZ I made a NAND backup of my pdax system. I didn't back up my files otherwise
![]() I know. I should have backed up the files ![]()

I am looking for suggestions as to how to resuscitate a disfunctional sd card. It is no longer recognized by the Z, nor by window$ xp. I cannot format it using fdisk, nor does mkfs.ext2 work. Does anyone have any tricks that will kickstart this thing back into functionality.
