I'm trying to follow the instructions to get 8.1 on my wifi only gemini and at the same try to get dual boot work to linux - because I could never get that to work right with the 7.1.1 version
Running the windows flash tool. I set everythng up and it looked good until I just noticed that three of the partitions/areas in the download screen are unchecked - these are lk, lk2 and logo. The instructions say every section should be checked so I am somewhat nervous to proceed unless this is OK. If it isn't anyone have a clue why the partitions are not checked. In the 7.1.1 version those three partitions exist. Obviously I could just copy them across but I can see that going horribly wrong so I'm not enthralled with that idea unless I know its going to be OK Thanks in advance Francis |
