Hi,
I'm back on Cacko again but it may be a while before I get round to moving to 1.22. Got a lot of stuff set up on my 1.21 config and am going to have to wait for a while before I move.
In the meantime I wanted 2.1r2 Squashfs which has better performance and better compression than the previous build so I built the following IPK. It contains the module and the mksquashfs util compiled for the 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix kernel.
Don't bother with this if you are up and running on Cacko 1.22 it's already there. Don't bother with this if you are running on an SL-C3000 you are running a different kernel and the module won't work.
If you are on a Stock Sharp ROM based on 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix or are on 1.21 Cacko like me and need to wait a while before upgrading then this may be useful.
Note: I don't recommend use of squashfs or any other file based FS on Microdrives, they take too long to resume and cause problems for file systems mounted from files on them. Other CF cards may work better - I choose to stick with SD cards and don't have such problems.
