@ SSG:
can you please make yor battle of wesnoth available for us?!?

@ DaMightyWhightyMan :
i only installed stratagus, swapon and load my wcII data on my CF Card : stratagus -d /mnt/cf/wcII/data, wait 20 seconds and it starts! no magic,
runs under debian on my c700, too

bye Denis
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=68780\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

I get

Code: [Select]
# stratagus -d /mnt/cf/war2/data
Maybe you need to specify another gamepath with '-d /path/to/datadir'?
#

any ideas?

FIXED

Had to run Wargus first to extract stuff out of the data files on the Warcraft CD, THEN copy the wargus generated data folder to the cf card

I'm having a problem with Wesnoth as well.

From this:

Code: [Select]
# stratagus -c /usr/local/share/wesnoth/
It starts to load, screen blanks, etc.

Then I get:

Code: [Select]
Font mapping not found: 'yellow'
Anyone?

You don´t need stratagus for wesnoth!

just Type wesnoth in a console
et voila!

Why does Wesnoth load up and say "Setting Video Mode to 1024x768x16"

If this was 640x480, would the Hotkey screen (And some of the other oversized screens) show up correctly?

Plays beautifully though, thanks for compiling it.  I noticed they have directions on how to build it in OE, though it looks like they have it setup for an Ipaq/5500 w/ a 320x240 screen.  They say that that version doesnt use Floating Point.  Is this version compiled with No Floating Point or Soft Float?

I'd imagine using Wesnoth's own "Non-Float" would make it faster than the Soft Float.  But I am usually wrong.

Command & Conquer Red Alert, Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun are all low cpu and graphic games, I would love to play a C&C game on my Z.

C&C seems to be quite an open source game, apart from and new versions of the game which need uber 3D cards.

It would be great to have OpenTTD for PdaXrom! Somewhere on this forum I saw a compiled version of OpenTTD, but it was for Qtopia..

I think the "Astroseries" games are crashing because they were originally made only for Windows.  They never made an official release of that game for Linux, and thus, some other people around did.  Their conversions might not be the very best, ya' know.

It would be cool if the "Astroseries" people actually made a Linux release.  I think they were starting to head that way... But I dunno.

Just a quick notice that I informed the Wesnoth group of the port, and updated their downloads and Linux PDA page accordingly. The forum thread I put up there is here. They had a suggestion, and were rather enthusiastic. I hope nobody minds.
