Laze : what is 9.1 ? the corrected version of RC9 you released a few days after a first "improper" release, or another brand new one ? I flashed RC9 (second edition) on my 750 last monday, what are the differences between those two versions ?

Thanks, and bye !

Just some small fixes and not much visible - feeling for most users. I you haven't installed a lot of stuff i recommend flashing this one...

The next RC10 should be available in a week or two..

Laze, good to see you're making such a great amount of progress lately.  However, my Z is running so nice right now that it would break my heart to reflash all over again.

I would be willing to switch if the blanke applet, which is very handy, controlled XMMS like it says.  Or am I the only one with this problem?

Laze:
Are the apps in the RC9.1 feed different from the RC9 feed? I've got that feed on my CF for wireless installs. Are they recompiled? Or am I ok with installing ipks from the old RC9 feed.

Thanks for all you guys do!

BTW, saw the screen shots of the 5x00 version of pdaXrom, you & sashz are going to make a lot of zaurus users very happy

Cheers,

badog: Haven't someone already made that as an IPK?

There are some fixes in the new RC9.1 feed and some new utils for sniffing etc.

a noticed matchbox window manager in the feed. Is there any way to use it not in always maximised mode? Any way to keep windows smaller than the desktop?

But I don't think it is wise to include these input method in RC10 as the size of the rom does matter for many users and most of them will not use it.

I think it is good enough to include these ipks in the RC feed.

@scoutme: matchbox was written so that all windows except dialogs are maximized, so I don't think there is way

The reason why we don't use the matchbox window manager is that it cant run in anything in maximized. We are using it for testing in the 5x00 version.

ok, openbox is the best alternative, effectively.

a few more things:
1) when rotation happen, the bar changes placement - but windowmanager works like it didn`t. So, maximized windows are distanced by the desktop edge by a side while beiNg partially hidden by the newly placed bar
2) it`d be good if, when you launch on screen kboard:
    - window space diminish so that maximized windows don`t fall behind th keyboard
    - the app is launched in "decorate" and "always on top" mode by default
3) how can we have fonts in vertical mode small as they are in landscape?
