apps for tkc rom
« on: January 14, 2004, 08:43:45 pm »
I have installed various stuff from proto\'s feed, but I\'m wondering about where to get other applications to run on my 860.

I\'ve tried a lot of stuff from http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/ but everthing turns out to be for the 5000 series - ie no landscape mode and low res.  I am running the pim from the opie site which works well, so I\'ll be trying other stuff from there, but I\'m wondering what else is available.

I tried to run x11 on my Z partly due to the apps on the cacko site, but I couldn\'t get wireless to work, so its not an option.

any ideas would be great.

Most of the stuff on killefiz will work ok.

If they run sideways, and are magnified then tap and hold the icon, remove the tick from the \"display with magnified screen\" box.

Most apps I have tried will then fill the screen.

Hi b2bpro,
Please give SafeDee a try. this runs in hi res for both landscape and portrait mode on the 7x0 series, so I guess it should work on the 860.
You can get V2.0.1 off  http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/
Thanks,
Clive

Does the Opie PIMs sync with Intellisync?

I don\'t know - I haven\'t tried.  It stores data in XML format so Its easy to backup - other than that I just use my 860 as source.
