Wcf-12 Problem Wapaton 1.6

I've tried upgrading to the Wapaton 1.6 (which I love) ... but my wireless card is no longer working. Which is strange :::: it's a linksys wcf 12 ::: I looked under /etc/pcmcia and the card is listed in wlan-ng.conf so it should be binding correctly.

When I insert the card, the light goes on for a second, then off immidiatly. Checking the system manager shows that the prism drivers have loaded. cardctl status shows that the card is in suspended mode.  cardctl resume turns on the light for a second, then back off and it goes right into suspend mode ??


I've tried formating and reflashing.
I've redownloaded the wapaton ROm files from a different server, and tried again ;:::   still the same problem every time .



Any suggestions on how to fix this!?

I have the same network card, however I havent tried it with watapon 1.6, only my SMC card.. I'll give it a try tonight and see if I have the same issue.
