Not Sure What I'm Doing At All.
« on: March 29, 2005, 03:51:44 pm »
I'm trying to run a java app I downloaded on my Zaurus but I'm not having any luck.

The Clue browser looks nice when I run it on my mac, I thought it could be a alternate to Opera and Konquerer under OZ and the requirements made me think it just might work!

5500 with OZ 3.5.2, I've got every java I can find installed

Starting with the IBM one

/opt/QtPalmtop/j9/ppro10/bin/j9  -cp ./swingZ.jar:./lib/BBShell-421.jar:./lib/CWBC-DSKB-421.jar:./lib/waf0_5.jar:./lib/sax2.jar
(W)J9VM0011 Unable to load jclfoun10_22: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
(E)EXEX0013 Internal VM error: Failed to create Java VM
(I)EXEX0014 Run j9 -help for usage

I cant find anything libjclfoun10 in it on my filesystem.

evm gets a little further:

root@collie:/mnt/card/Clue4.2# evm -Djava.class.path=/swingZ.jar:./lib/BBShell-421.jar:./lib/CWBC-DSKB-421.jar:./lib/waf0_5.jar:./lib/sax2.jar
Exception in thread "main", java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: java.lang.NullPointerException
        at<init> (bytecode 21)
        at<clinit> (bytecode 8)
        at (bytecode 31)

cvm gets the furthest:
/opt/QtPalmtop/j2me/bin/cvm -Djava.class.path=./swingZ.jar:./lib/BBShell-421.jar:./lib/CWBC-DSKB-421.jar:./lib/waf0_5.jar:./lib/sax2.jar

No application name set, use cvm instead

Looks like its running out of memory?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

It looks like the program was written for full Java SE.  It  may be using classes not supported by your JRE.  Do you have the source?
