Installer Does Not See Opie Pkgs?
« on: April 22, 2005, 06:43:44 pm »
New user dumb question.

The Installer app does not see OPIE packages. Does this mean I cannot install them?

I want to install the OPIE Today package and OPIE libraries for it but the add/remove installer does not see thepackages? Am I doing something wrong?

Any help and explanation certainly appreciated?

(I am doing this on my SL6K and C3K).

It can't see them as they are in an ar format ipk.

You could get around this, but they won't work as you don't have the required libs on your Sharp ROM.

There used to be a Opie apps for Sharp ROM feed somewhere (perhaps on handhelds.org), try there.
