This ROM is collie only, sorry.
Unless someone interested ports it to other devices (it is build using OE).

Why does my zaurus freezes when I want to sync with my computer ? And what do I have to do to prevent this?

Coredump - Have you tested any theKomany apps with the 3.5.3 version?  With 3.5.2 I could never get any tkc apps to work with the compatible lib's.  You mentioned once (I think) that you got tkcplayer to work with 3.5.3.  I was never able to get it to run.  Is there a trick that I'm missing?  I just installed the Hetges 3.5.3 withe cardfs and a 64/0 kenel.  I plan on trying the tkc apps tonight and just wanted to check with you to see if you have tried.

Thx
Bill

So far, at least I haven't been able to do so. However, opie-mail has become much better in the 3.5.2 release, and thus tkcmail is almost useless now (at least for me).

Coredump , what  I would like to know is  how do I connect with qtopiadesktop  because now I am conected with windows and my lan is working perfectly but no connection what so ever with qtopiadesktop 1.7  . Am i to impatient to try a new unstable Hentges rom and do I have to wait  or is this a known problem and is there a solution ?
I am a zaurus user with little programming knowledge so excuse me if I am asking something obvious .

Someone else needs to answer that as I do not run Windows and have never used qtopiadesktop, sorry.

Coredump, you rule! That is the way an OZ installation should be.  You saved me a lot of time to get the apps you included installed.  Now for the elusive Konqueror.  If I can get that installed, my Z is now perfect.  Thanks again....

Glad you like it
Konqueror will be included in the next release. As will be freedoom for prboom and a new boot manager
to boot SD cards or start into a GUI-less runlevel.

EDIT: I may have used the wrong kernel (I think I did). I will reflash and see if it still does this.

Doh! One problem, and I mean exactly 1.  I eject my CF card and insert my Netgear MA 701 card and it doesn't show that I have inserted anything.  I then put my CF card back in, and it again doesn't show anything.  Is the driver for the netgear card included in this image?

I can't wait for the next version.  This is a really cool way to install OZ. Konqueror has been troublesome for me on past and present OZ installs. Any timeline?

krautsjo, are you running windows or Linux? If you are using Linux, check out the 3.4 version of Kontact. It syncs perfectly with the Opie-pim suite.

I would think so. Most cards use the  hostap driver.

There's no timeline, however, you'll find release candidates @ hentges.net/tmp/do_not_use.
Konqueror is already in, as is booting off of SD cards.

It was the wrong kernel after all.  Also, I figured if I am flashing anyway I might as well use the release candidate.  Very cool CoreDump.  I had a hard time thinking up other packages I wanted, as you had included all the core apps I need on my Z.  Nice work.

I must say your mirror is MUCH faster than the main feed. I wonder is that a bandwidth difference or is it just that most people never change their sources list?

I also moved the opie-PIM files (addressbook.xml and datebook.xml) to a folder on my SD card and symlinked them to their original locations.  I found that with OZ I could only use the pim apps for so long before running out of space. That solved that.  Now if I could figure out why Kontact can sync the addressbook but hangs trying to sync the calendar then my Zaurus would be the perfect PDA/PMT.
