Hey Guys,
wtf about this pdaXrom strikes back action. The thread posted by pgas is not a legitimation for highjacking this thread. Mickey answered in the pdaXrom thread refered by pgas to a user asking for ppaxrom for 5500 because of X. Since there is no pdaXrom for 5500 and OZ/GPE is the only possibility (well pocketworksation too, but if you have a big card) to ron X on a bare 5500, mickey made a valueable contribution to the thread to help the user, not highjacking that thread.
In this thread, well we have a possibility for OZ/GPE on SL-C1000. It is already in the bitbake/OE system. But I don't deny, that it may be usefull to inform users about existing pdaXrom for the c-1000, since there is no (flame)war between OZ and pdaXrom.

Teletubbie:  this was exactly my point.

 The guy asking for pdaxrom was not asking for X, just as this thread does not talk about X.
(though I guess what they both really wanted was X)

Mickey made an little ad for OZ/gpe in the pdaxrom thread, sashz is making a little ad for pdaxrom in this thread.

I think it's perfectly normal that they both want to push their babies, and exchange on this forums have been perhaps a bit cold but never agressive and  there was no need for this "Stop trolling in the OZ forums"

sashz and mickeyl:  there is no need to 'sell' your distro in each others' threads.  in both cases someone had a very specific question about one of the distros, not about X in general.  let's give our community a bit of credit... I believe that most know the difference between pdaxrom and OZ (opie/gpe).  

what is it going to take for the two sides to respect each other for the great work that both teams are doing?

now please, lets go back to arguing about guyhelm's crazy idea for qtopia 2.11 to take over the world

As our illustrious admin has pointed out, this arguement is not only pointless, but counterproductive to all of our cause.  Both OZ and PdaXrom offer the abandoned Zaurus users CHOICE, which is why we are all here.
