Hi Snappy!

>Its already Monday and still no sign of the battery. I doubt I can get it before I leave town.
>Its almost two weeks since paypal was sent. This is so disappointing.
I am VERY sorry about it. But the Battery is on it's way...
Another possibillity would be, that I send a 2. battery to your new address, and you'll send one of the batteries back to me...

Regards

Hi Ludwig,

Can you send a 2nd battery to me then? btw, are you sending via ems or something? EMS should take only 5~6 days. I'll PM you the other address. Thanks.

Would you be willing to document how you do it? Could we buy standard Nokia batteries and change them?

Hi!

The things, you need for building a battery are:

1 battery for Nokia 7210 (mobile phone)
1 NTC with 10k
adhesive copper foil
soldering gun + solder + soldering adipose (I don't know, how to call it)
heat shrink tube
heat gun
Stuff for electroplating like gold dilution, ...
and some sellotape

If there is someone, who is really interested in building the battery itself, please write me a mail, and I'll explain it. lzabel@gmx.de
But I think, it's cheaper to buy a original Sharp battery, then building it itself..
Unless, you've gott all this stuff at home!

Regards
  Ludwig

P.S.: Here are some Pictures of the battery

Nice pics there!  ... btw, the first pic seem to show a resistor (or some component) over copper strip 1 & 2. Would it be a short over the strips with the leg over it?

What battery are you using to get to 1700mAh?  All the 7210 batteries I've found so far are all 650 or 750 mAh.  Thanks!
