Can I put Opera in my distribution?
« on: January 26, 2004, 06:03:54 pm »
Can I put Opera in my distribution (not quite a custom ROM, more like a very big ipk) or will that be a copyright violation? I assume Sharp has licensed for every Zaurus made but I don’t know. I doubt many of you are lawyers, but any info would be nice.

Legally, you can\'t distribute Opera, unless you have a distribution agreement with Opera.
There are some roms that do have it on.

I guess I\'ll just leave it off and give instructions on how to install it.
