Is there any way i can add a device file perminantly? I would like to add \"mknod /dev/loop2 b 7 2\" either to be created at startup or find a way for it to always be there.

Thanks for any advice!

Stick it in a script in /etc/init.d and link to it from one/all of the /etc/rc.d directories?
