getting Imageon_iniScreen()
:bad file descriptor

no screens found, and statrx or startxfce doesnt work...any ideas?

rc11?  See the main rc11 thread... if you run qpkg (the gui package updater), the feed is improperly reset to the main feed which will "upgrade" your X installation to the wrong version.
