I just looked at the charger plug for the Z under a loupe with measurement guide, and the outer plug is 4mm in diameter, and the inner hole is a little over 1 and a half milimeters (can't be more percise with the loupe I have), so 1.7mm would seem to be correct.
Hmm... I guess that is what I.D and O.D. means on the package I have from Radio Shack, good to know. I had just matched up the Z power connector with the mess of plugs they have out for determining which plug of their's fits it, that gave me a letter, and I grabbed the connector pack from the bin labeled the same.
P.S. Why are suddenly threads popping up about the power connector?
