What Speed Sd Card Should I Buy?
« on: October 08, 2005, 01:41:16 pm »
I found a cheap 512MB SD card that has speeds of 10x.  Is that good enough?  Can the 5500 even handle fast speeds like 50x?

I want to format it to ext2 and put Openzaurs/gpe, or crow and pocketworkstation, and I intend to use the gcc compiler for development.

There's no point in spending more money for a faster card if you're just going to be using it in the Zaurus. It can't handle the higher speed anyway.

Would there even be any difference, then, between a 1x card and a 10x card, as far as using it in my zaurus 5500 is concerned?
