Folding Paper Cradle
« on: October 16, 2005, 06:47:04 pm »
A couple of years ago I remember someone making a templeate for a cradle made out of stiff paper.  If anyone remembers it or saved the template please let me know thanks.  I now have a use for a travel cradle that does not take up much space.

There was also someone who showed how to make a stand for the Zaurus out of a paper clip.  I still use the paper clip rarely when I use my IRK keyboard.  This is not a helpful post, though, because I don't remember how to make the paper stand.  I could post a picture of my paper-clip, if you want.  :-)

I don't know if it's the one you're thinking of, but here is a paper cradle for a CLIE: (via Babelfish)

Personally, I find that a thin USB cable is all that is needed while traveling -- I don't see the need to have the Zaurus stand up while syncing.

Thanks doseas, that is nearly the same, but not the exact one I recall, and may work fine.  I need to pack something that would work as a quick display easel or for typing on my external keyboard.
